Can I have my own Caterer? Yes! This is your wedding!!

Can I bring my own Alcohol? Yes! We help you get a temporary liquor license from the state for $40.

Are food trucks allowed? Yes!

What is a Friday wedding like? It’s actually more fun!! You start the ceremony 3 hours later. It’s cheaper. And your guests stay later. When you start your Saturday at 1 or 2pm the guest are ready to go home by 7pm. When you have a Friday your guests easily stay until 10 or 11pm. You still get the place until 12:30am. And it gives everyone the full weekend to recoup.

How much parking is there? At WoodSmith we can accommodate up to 150 vehicles - which is over 300 guest

What to expect when I take a tour? You set the tour right on the Contacts page, you come out we spend about 45-1 hour together. You see the place and see if you like it. You can receive a copy of the contract to take home and think about. If you decide to go further you contact WoodSmith and sign the contract. Then you have 10 days to give your deposit. Easy!! And Stress free!!

Could we bring a camper? Yes! The more the merrier. The camper does need to be gone by 10am the day after the event since there could be another event.

How many guest can I have? At WoodSmith’s we can accommodate up to 300 people.

Where can my out of town guest stay? Batavia has over 1000 rooms within minutes of our venue. AND WoodSmith Estates gets a VIP rate for their clients at The Batavia Downs Casino Hotel!

Will my caterer have access to the venue? Yes, we have a separate entrance for caterers to pull in and set up the food.

How do I reserve a date? Set up a tour! Let’s make sure this is what you want! If this is where you want to say I do, you email me that you would like your date. I verify that the date is still available. I send you a contract and make your date unavailable for anyone else. Then you have 10 days to send in the signed contract and the deposit.

Will you hold any dates? Unfortunately I’m sure you can guess we talk with couples regarding dates all the time. Because of that, We will not hold any dates without a signed contract.

Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by? We ask that you schedule a tour. This ensures that we will have adequate time to show you everything and answer any questions.

What is the payment process? At WoodSmith we require a non-refundable deposit and a signed contract 10 days after notifying us to reserve your date. The deposit is 1/5 of the total and then the remaining balance is broken into 4 installment payments over how many months you have left before your date.
